Personally, I consider all those "mmo" mouse to be no more than gimmicks..

Not going to lie, they're both kind of ugly. I'd prefer the one with buttons on the sides as it looks far more comfortable to use for everyday stuff, but I imagine trying to hit different buttons on the thing is anything but intuitive. Personally, I don't even like the mouse I already have (I didn't choose it), and that has fewer buttons to hit! It's some rat.. thing, supposedly customizable but aside from looking ugly I find that trying to hit the 'extra' buttons just forces you to hold the mouse in a less comfortable position.

Having them all under my fingertips would probably be even worse as I'd inevitably end up hitting the wrong button 3 times out of 5 when there are so many so close.

and also, the other problem is.. the only instance where naga/G600 type of mouse shines is when you're moving your character with the wasd keys and your right hand is freed up for area targetting + skill execution. But keyboard movement just can't keep up with mouse movement so that's a big no no.. I've found it much better to just bind the crap out of my keyboard and focus my mouse for moving, usually can squeeze out about 60-70 skill slots which is more than enough for most games.

I kinda don't like how new spells don't replace old ones. I hate having three ranks of the same damn thing on my bars. Gives me vanilla/BC wow flashbacks/nightmares/PTSD.

I'm on gamepad, and my DRG has 3 bars, but 2nd is just jumps, invigorate. 3rd, AOEs, jumps, buffs; only use it occasionally when there's lots of mobs.
So i can fill out all the new skills on 2nd bar basically. or crop main bar a little.

Nin uses less than 2 full bars as well.

Personally, I consider all those "mmo" mouse to be no more than gimmicks.. and technically speaking, the Meta has superior hardware specs than most (higher dpi, analog stick included, more buttons, bigger memory size also iirc) it just never picked up because of its weird/laughable design. I have heard of some people having success with it, but Warmouse Meta originally was touted as the open office mouse which was meant to be used for work situations and each button having its own macro scripts programmed in. Too bad the price never came down below $80 so I never got to try it

Once you get used to it, you can't go back. I thought it was a gimmick too when I first tried the Razer Naga. When I replaced it with my current G600 it was night and day, since the 12 buttons feel like mini-keys. So I never lost my place. I tried playing a Ninja on my laptop about 2 weeks ago on a regular 5 button mouse and just had issues. I love my G600, and I even find uses for it in non-MMORPGs such as MechWarrior Online and Planetside 2 (MMOFPS).

The Meta looks interesting, and I can see the use for it. But I couldn't find a place to shop for it outside ebay.
