If the work the same as the pre-order items for ARR, then there is no time limit to claim them after you register your pre-order code, every character you have or will create after you register, for the life of the game, will get the items.

That was just the client. The rest of the download will be available on the 17th or 18th. Can't remember exactly. I saw it somewhere but I'm at work on my phone now so don't want to look it up.

You won't have to wait to download the client/launcher before you ACTUALLY download Heavensward on the 19th. There is no "advantage" other than it's a time saver. There is no getting around the download times on the 19th though.

Yeap. Its just a prep for download. Digital pre load starts on 6/17 for those who went that route.

Do you know if purchasing CE from PS store also enables the client to be downloaded early? (like im reading about from other posts?) After I preordered my Digital CE, I was prompted for the auto-download but aside from that, nothing else has happened.

If nothing else happened, you're ok. The fact that people were downloading the client early was actually a problem. We (on PSN) will be able to pre-load the client on the 18th~19th.

You can check the countdown through the Library, accessing FFXIV ARR - Add on - Heavensward, that's when you may download the client. I think it's available June 16, just the client. I still have no clue if Early access will prompt us to download the entire game to us on digital or just early access portion.

What everyone else said, that is just the client which won't work until the 19th with the advantage of having already downloaded the client already. Now all that's left to download is the 'game' like you would a 'patch' through the client the very 19th.

I hope the download is not too big (meaning not bigger than 40gb).
