Just hit 50 BTN, where do I start?

So now that I hit 50 BTN (technically I'm 52 now but it feels slow) what's the best way to catch up so I can level towards 70? I was introduced to collectibles and the new leves in Ishgard but compared to 1-50 it seems a lot different to grind/level.

Basically what I'm asking is exactly what the title says.

You have several ways to level.

First is of course to gather stuff. This can be sped up with survival manuals and cheap food. This also gives you stuff to sell.

GC turnins, gather the 10 HQ, sell all the NQ. Preferably in 10s for those who buy rather than gather for the GC turnins.

Then there are levequests, they are a fairly straightforward time for EXPs exchange. They give you nothing to sell.

Collectables are a hybrid of sorts. You burn your GPs gathering them, then go gather something else that will sell while your GPs refill and the next collectable pops.

I prefer selling things so I rarely do levequests, and hardly gathered collectables after I bought my folklore books.

Try them all, do the ones that you find most rewarding.

Collectibles are the best way to level, unless you have appropriately leveled crafters you're leveling simultaneously and need mats for. For early levels, you can do a 0 GP rotation on the Cedar Logs outside of CWH and hit up the timed nodes when possible. Just incorporate higher and higher level timed nodes as you gain the level and gear requirements to make them feasible. You pretty much just continue with that same basic idea all the way to 70. Miner works the exact same way.

FSH collectibles were a decent portion of my XP during HW, but SB FSH collectibles seem to be straight trash and I'd recommend just finding valuable things to grind and sell on the MB, like swordtips or spiny lobsters in the Ruby Sea.
