Question regarding Heavensward PS4 theme

(I tried searching around several places and I wasn't able to find a definitive answer to this question, but if it was answered somewhere else, I would definitely appreciate a link!)

Is the Heavensward PS4 theme exclusive to pre-orders from the PlayStation store or will all PS4 collector's edition pre-orders get it?

I purchased the physical collector's edition assuming that the most expensive version of the game would allow me access to all the related goodies, but on the list of pre-order bonuses for the PS4 physical collector's edition, there's no mention of any PS4 theme.

The theme is really beautiful and I would definitely love to have it. Does anyone know if that's a possibility or not?

Yes, the theme is exclusive to those who preorder through PSN.

Append: PSN EU does have an ARR theme that's free. You just need to set up an account and there you go. I won't tell you how, but I'm sure there's videos out on Youtube that do.

That's... really lame... I doubt it would have changed my purchase in the long run, but knowing in plain terms that there would be things not included in the physical bundle would have been good information. Kind of not cool that the most expensive version of the game doesn't come with something nice like that. T_T

Was the ARR theme free at the beginning? Maybe there's hope the Heavensward theme will be offered in the PSN store in the future...

Had i known this it would have changed my mind. I play on both ps4 and pc. I ordered the physical CE for ps4 and planned to eventually get the regular digital version for pc. If i had known I wouldn't get the heavensward ps4 theme with the physical version I would have swapped it around and bought the pc CE physical and got the digital for ps4.

I agree. This sucks for all of us who preordered the physical CE on PS4. Don't get me wrong, I do still like all the stuff I'm getting with said CE, but the fact that there's an exclusive theme for people who chose to pay less is a bit unfair in some ways....

I'm assuming it's just pre-orders, since the upgrades are done through Mogstation which isn't connected to PSN, right? D;
