I don't get why SE still insists guys can't wear the "female" gear but we can wear the "male" gear. I know there's exceptions in the game, but if you're going to allow one way you should allow the other.

I love it, and I want it, great job Nozomi ! I'm sure my Miqo'te would rock it in jet black. Too bad mage classes don't have access to caligae, other than the WoD boots, so I hope that if we ever get a male version of this belly-dancer outfit, we'll also have the laced-up boots.

Oh, I missed ladyJ's quote. I find it funny to accuse those who want this outfit to be made unisex to have a political agenda or bring real life stuff into the game, when those who brought up homosexuality, transgender people and yada yada are those OPPOSED to seing male characters in a dress. Those who like OP's suggestion didn't even mention it before these topics were brought up as (nonsensical) "arguments" against it.

The Flames Allied Seals DoM feet are caligae, actually! But I still really, really want the shoes from this set to be wearable by guys...mages need more shoe options bad.

Come on now SE. Nintendo lets people do stuff like this and you don't? They get away with letting you blatenetly cross dress in an E rated game, Animal Crossing, as much as you want, and you can't be bothered to tweek an outfit to fit both genders?

I don't know what it is but SE seems to be ignoring these threads. This and the Au Ra horns request threads are the biggest ones going right now and they have yet to say absolutely ANYTHING at all . Yet simple pre-order posts get answered, i'd be cool with that IF THERE WASN'T ALREADY EVERY ANSWER TO THOSE QUESTIONS ALREADY ON REDDIT!. SE at least just acknowledge that we exist...

Just gonna repeat myself again by saying they already have released a lot of dresses and feminine gear for men in this game

such as? it's not feminine just cause it's a skirt. the closest thing to feminine, is the flame loincloth, and it's not really. plain long skirt, and demon skirts, etc, aren't remotely feminine.
what dresses? the only thing i can find is smock/apron.

Sarcasm aside, pre-order questions probs take priority since those things need to be squared away ASAP so as not to create a panic in regards to products purchased. As for here... well, even if this was seen and given attention it's clearly they would need to pass through walls to deal with the matter so obviously no sense in saying anything when everything(or nothing) is still in the air.

By the way - that's one piece of gear (I MEAN THE LOINCLOTH) that somewhat borders what this thread is about. The whole design is extremely unique, and at the same time extremely restricted. Not gender-wise, but still. Just...y'know, one of those things that I think many people wouldn't mind seeing a more "free" version of. Especially considering that respective Twin Adders and Maelstrom gear comes nowhere near this in "coolness" factor either.

There IS a pattern here, y'know.
Hell just SEARCHING for these will make you realize something important: If you put any of the non-genderlocked outfits into a search engine, the top results will always be a female character wearing it, the posts from the developers announcing it, or something from TERA online (I have no idea why so many Elin show up when I search some of these outfits.). I really had to narrow my search criteria to find that dude in the wrap, whereas when i just entered the item name i got 2 pages of female characters.
