When a debate reaches this point, I'm often reminded of story from Suikoden II. Victor describes that after his family were turned into zombies, he found them with nothing else better to do than to start eating each other. Let's not let this topic get to that point, please.

Seriously though, if you are against the idea of unisex gear, then good for you. However, you'll get no karma points from the developers by swooping down and shaking your cane at all of the players asking for change.

Personally, I have no interest in this set, in particular. Personally, I'm more interested in the female Oasis Tunic set. I'm curious if the detractors are as adamantly against making that set, and it's male exclusive exclusive counterpart, wearable by characters of both genders. None of the Oasis gear, male or female, really scream gender exclusive. They just currently are.

Oh you can be sure that there ARE people that would like access to everything restricted from their gender. BUT the issue has come into play when they make "male" sets and "female" sets, and then the "male" sets are unisex but the female sets are restricted. This causes an imbalance because then the "exclusivity" is cheapened.

At least in the case of the Yukata and the Civilian clothes the sets ARE exclusive AND they are equally relevant. People may grumble and go "I wish..." but they won't fight so hard for it.
