Ok I am trying to start a free company, but it says I need signatures from 3 other players... Is that free players from other users or can I use my other names on my account?

Other players, and I'll warn you owning an FC is a ton of work and millions of gil and on most worlds there are no residential lots available for a house any more.
I see... So they made housing and now they do not have enough houses for all the people or any? Are they not going to make more?
You have to interact directly with the other character to invite them, and since you can't be logged in with multiple alts from the same account at the same time, that means you can't invite your alts. However, it is possible to ask someone to join just briefly, long enough to help you establish the FC and then wait while you log out and in again on your alt(s) so they can invite all your alts into the FC for you. (Just make sure you give them invite rights. I can't remember whether that's a default or not.)
(People on the 14-day free trial program can't join an FC or help to establish one.)
There is a chance the expansion will add more wards to the existing residential areas but I don't think it has been confirmed. When you start going through the end game stuff after completing the 2.0 story will provide opportunities to increase your funds well. You can keep an eye on the residential status by going to the main aetheryte in the main cities and choose the residential option. You can choose the spot you want to teleport to and it will show the status of each lot in the ward. Wish you the best with your guild.
Still have to find someone... It can of feels rude yet to ask someone at random to help me, not one of of my firneds on my firends list on PSN plays ffxivYou have to interact directly with the other character to invite them, and since you can't be logged in with multiple alts from the same account at the same time, that means you can't invite your alts. When I get on later tonight I would be willing to make a few quick characters on the server to sign your petition for you. I'll check back later to see if you still need signatures.
Just shout you need signatures for a FC. Usually a few people have an alt they will help you sign with or sometimes even willing to pop out and then back into their FC.
Why not just join one of the million existing free companies?
