    Yet another new player thread.

    Hello, everyone.

Another new player here. I've played DC Universe Online for the past 3 years and I probably will every now and then but it feels like it might be time to move on to something else.

I'm playing as a Gladiator right now and I've gotten up to level 29. I've only run the events in the Duty Finder only once or twice because the game won't proceed without it. I'm also working on a Conjurer (level 15) to become a Paladin.

What I'm wondering is if there are any decent Tanking guide out there to read. I tried using the search function but it brought up a number of guides and not all of them in English. I guess I should also ask for a decent Healer guide and a Paladin guide as well. Also are there any decent Free Companies on the Midgardsormr server to join that will be patient and help out new players?

Thanks in advance for any help and tips provided.

There are some good tips that can be found in the tank role and healer role forum groups. I can say for certain that for paladin you'll want to level up marauder until you unlock mercy stroke. If you pursue conjurer to lvl 32ish you can unlock stoneskin which can help yourself in solo content. If you want to pursue conjurer all the way through white mage you'll want to work on thaumartage to unlock swiftcast. Hope this helps some and definitely go through the role forum groups, the conversations have a lot of good tips in them.

I like this guide for tanking:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bCbt67TsqmY

It's slightly dated but not much has changed between patches (a lot will change with the expac though). Generally solid, IMO.

Here is a white mage guide that looks solid (although I haven't reviewed it in depth, I mostly learned healing by doing).

Note that both of these guides are rather endgame oriented. Low level healing should be pretty easy to just figure out as you go.
