I suppose the problem lies with me then. I guess its fair to mention I don't use food or pots. Too much of a cheapass at this point and people are hyper overcharging (30k per for flints fml, and 6-7k per int) for things.

While pots and food help, good DPS starts with a good rotation and knowing how to maximize efficient while dealing with encounter mechanics. I'd focus on these two things before worrying about consumables.
