Even if you get the codes on the 19th, and won't be able to play until the 20th... That's still early.
So for UK because its BST it will be 10am. Nice![]()
Even though I knew it, I am still disappointed existing account holders who are switching to OSX will not have access to the early release.
Midnight launch for me, lol. Perfect time, as it's like going out to a midnight release, but I get to stay home instead of driving anywhere.....
At least so long as this holds true.....
PlayStation®3 / PlayStation®4 (physical package version)
After registering the pre-order promotion code*, you will be prompted to download the client from PlayStation Store. * This is scheduled to be delivered before the start of early access.
Does anyone know yet how large the 'patch' is going to be? Are we talking 2 GB? 5? 10? 30?
The DX11 client will probably not be as big as you think it's going to be, and it'll probably be a simple switch. It usually is for games that allow it (WoW and Civ V come to mind)
They've mentioned HW would probably cause the game to exceed 60 gigs, but I don't know if that's how big it'll actually be.
With a worldwide game, SOMEONE is going to get screwed over. XDI find that rather irrelevant when they have players from around the world. If they sell and make the game available to all then it certainly is more then Japan. Other places in the world do exist!I will be doing same thing I did during ARR launch..lol sleeping, and by time I wake up hopefully they'll fix most of the login issues hah.
Better to start the launch sometime when the devs will still be awake to field any problems that arise. And problems WILL arise.
Yes, the folks at SE will be burning the midnight oil that night, anyway, so it's for the best that they don't start buring that oil STARTING at midnight...
