Multiple characters, same account, exciting or annoying?

Well i doubt i be the only one with the wish to level more than only 1 character under the same account that get frustrated to do so.

I know there is rich people with 2 or more computers and multiple accounts playing 2 or more characters at once.... but not everyone is rich to do so.

Im happy with my first main character but i sometimes wish level other diferent char than it and then get discouraged cause it would means re-do absolutely everything.

I dont mind the leveling jobs and such, thats completelly obvious, but could we have an incentive like share items/Gil betwen characters in same account? specially items hard to get like those from NM or Dungeons.... or have the option to decide to share achievements or sidequest as completed betwen our account characters? (maybe even main scenario quest, however see this dificult).

Would be also neat if we were able to use our other characters in our account like some sort of "Adventurer fellow NPC (the ones in XI)" , of course with some restrictions like only 1 at a time accompanyin you and such.

I doubt i be the only one wishing for something like this, its really dissapointin that if we want have multiple characters we get discouraged to do so cause the fact it implies re-do absolutely everything in every character, and at some point, feels like a waste be able to create multiple characters in a same account but it not be really worth the effort.
