The structure of the solar system is unlikely to have a huge impact on the story (unless we start planet hopping).

Zodiarc and the Ivalice espers (and by extension the Ascians) already reference the zodiac directly. I'm not sure how many more astrology references they can squeeze in.

I had thought about the Ivalice Espers.
I wonder if the Ishgarian Zodiac would also reflect on it or be something different?
It could explain why the Ascians are with the Holy See IF their espers have a connection to them.

I wonder how different Ishgardian Astologians (The ones we currently see) and Sharlayan Astrologians (What the job will be).

I haven't heard anything about Sharlayan Astrologians but now I'm curious. >3>
