Record player to play BGM in house

I stay too much time in the fc house crafting, I feeling tired about Lavender Beds music theme. What people think about a record player that have all game soundtrack.
Maybe the answer of this question should mute BGM and play some music off the game, but dunno all people in the house should listen the same music

I like this idea, being able to play game music in housing would be awesome. Not to mention they have this function in Final Fantasy XI, I'm just surprised nothing like this has come up yet.

Also how about a TV furniture item (or something like that), to watch game cutscenes. Right now the only place you can view them is at an Inn, would be nice to be able to view them in housing as well.

That's the Orchestrion, and it was revealed a while ago that it's indeed planned for inclusion in FFXIV, as mentioned here:

A: Yoshida: I think this kind of item would be a nice addition. Just the other day I was looking over documents for an item named “Orchestrion.” It said you’ll be able to obtain songs in some way and play them whenever you want. After this is implemented we're planning to add new songs for it with each patch.

Soken: If there's a spec document for a jukebox, then we can add it.

Yoshida: We're aiming to implement the Orchestrion in Patch 3.0 or 3.1.

So there you have it, a jukebox furnishing which allows you to change your background music in your house is coming. I just hope the songs aren't difficult to acquire like they are in FFXI.
