Looking to make in game friends!

Hello there! I'm new to the game. My roommates got me into it and I am loving it so far. It kind of reminds me of my world of Warcraft days! I enjoy playing games with other people. My roommates aren't always playing so sometimes I am playing by myself. It would be great to make some in game friends to play with!

I can't believe no one has replied to this yet considering how long ago you posted it. Then again most players hover around the general forums.

I'm all for meeting new people, but we're on different worlds. My advice is to join an FC (guild in other MMOs) as soon as possible and make friends there, preferably one your roommates are in as well. So when they aren't on you can talk to/play with others from the FC.

You can even browse FCs on the Lodestone and set search criteria for your world, and you can see what each FC is about or not based on the options they have set. So you can see whether FC is casual, hardcore, both, does PVP, raiding, RP, or whatever you're looking for. Once you find one that is recruiting, just submit an application.

If you don't want to join an FC you can always join a linkshell. You can even join multiple linkshells, but only one FC.

OP, check out the Malboro forums. You could make a thread in your world forums stating the sort of FC you will be looking for and you will probably get a lot of people inviting you .

Also, always keep your in game tutorials on OP.
