Preorder Confusion

I keep seeing people having issues with preorders whether it is physical or digital, or for those that transferred between PS3 to PS4.. What about those of us that preordered through Gamestop? Can anyone tell me if we pay when we pick it up, or will it come out of the same card we used to purchase it automatically? Also what about picking it up? Will we be able to get it on the 19th for the early access or do you think we will have to wait until the actual release date?

On the receipt you got when you pre ordered there is a code you input. And then se will send you your next code to enter the ea when it becomes available. People are still waiting on that 2nd code.

Assuming you pre-ordered a physical copy; you should have a pre-order code on your receipt that you redeem on SE's site for early access. If you do not have such a code, call the Gamestop you pre-ordered from. You will need to pick the game up on or after actual release, at which time you can use whatever method of payment you want for any remaining balance.

I can't help if you pre-ordered a digital copy, as I do not know how they handle those.

i have the code but waiting on the second. so it says i have early access….but i can't pick it up until the release date? is there another way to get early access without waiting until the release date? should i cancel my preorder and get it through the PSN store?

The early access will allow you to play the game on the 19th. When your code comes you enter that on the psn and download the update. Ea ends on the 23rd and you will have to go pick up your physical copy of the game to continue playing heavensward.
