Who Wants to Be a Gillionaire?

Why is this achievement/title set at 10,000,000 gil? It seems like a totally unrelated number in context of "Honest Gillionaire". The title reference is obviously for "Who Wants to Be A Millionaire?", which is a prize of $1,000,000 thus the "millionaire", so 10 million doesn't make much sense.

The current highest level leves can give roughly 1,000g for HQ turn-ins lets say. It would take 10,000 leves to get to 10m. That's 1,667 days.....which is over 4.5 years of constant leves....

That seems pretty unreasonable for a title that is out of context. It is basically saying a "Gillionaire" needs 10 million gil to be a gillionaire instead of a "Millionaire" needing 1 million.

The very first achievement in the category is for earning 100g from leves. That is literally nothing. I think it should be something more like:

    - 1,000
    - (5,000)
    - 10,000
    - (50,000)
    - 100,000
    - (500,000)
    - 1,000,000

Then just pick whichever 2 out of the 5,000 / 50,000 / 500,000 that seems right to fill out the 5 "On the Payrols" with the others.

I'm pretty sure there were some other achievements in the past that got adjusted because they were unreasonable to obtain.

How do you know a Gillion in Eorza isn't equal to 10,000,000 gil, and a million is just that 1,000,000? It could possibly be in the exchange rate too, not sure what gil is trading at today.Although here on Earth if someone has 1,000,000 or 10,000,000, you still call them a millionaire, you don't say "they are a 10 millionaire" sounds ridiculous. Millionaire would work all the way up till you have a billion, then you are a billionaire, with a "B".

I remember some of the gathering achieves being reduced. The fishing one was something like catch 4000 fish and got reduced to 1000

The title isn't referencing the gillion it is a play off million and gil.
Also with triple turn in leves you can get up to 4500 for 1, 2223 leves or 1year and 5 days. Which is not unheard of expectation wise of a mmo player these days.

Asside from almost all your numbers being wrong you still hand the argument that the reference prize does not match the achievement amount, but i chalk that up to artistic license.

In some games, Gillionaire was the name of the ability that gave you extra gil at the end of battle. Rikku had it on her upgraded Celestial Weapon in FF10.
