Personal Accomplishment Time!

While I was in the closed beta and launch of 2.0, I quit after the first month because of bugs, or so I thought, I wanted to wait while they were fixing bugs, I could not advance anymore. So I only came back last year in august.

I leveled up my favorite classes to 50: Black Mage, Summoner, Bard, Ninja. I was quite happy when the Ninja job came with the 2.4 patch because rogue/assassin/burglar/thief has always been my favorite melee DPS class and the other two - monk and dragoon - leave me cold.

I also leveled up for my bard and ninja all my cross-class skills (lancer at LV 34, pugilist at LV 42) which was slow and painful but really worth it.

My FC told me I should try a support class, and that since I had a summoner at LV 50 and conjurer at LV 8, that I should unlock scholar which I did. I got the healer LV 50 soldiery set and did all the scholar quests so I have everything unlocked. I did a few low level dungeons on it.

I've always liked 2-handed axe and I had thought about maybe leveling a tank (I had a cute male Hobbit Guardian named Rupertwise in LOTRO), a warrior, so I ended up leveling a Warrior which was hard because it requires a lot of work. But I like more my warrior than my scholar so I've tossed aside my scholar to focus on my warrior instead as a support class. I also leveled up gladiator at LV 22 for the cross-class skills (and warrior job).

I got my relic weapon at 90 for all my main: black mage, summoner, bard, ninja and warrior.

I also got the soldiery set for my black mage, my summoner, my bard and warrior and my ninja weapon. I've managed to get all the sands and oils to upgrade their set to i110. I got as armor set the poetic one for my ninja since I find the monk armor sets fugly and the soldiery is the monk set (now shared with ninja). I also used my poetic for rings for their set, since you cannot get the same soldiery ring.

Now I'm ready for the expansion.

While all these might seem normal to you, in my case it's not. I've always been a terrible altholic spreading myself in many many alts, so I spent all my time, in the past 11 years I've been playing MMOs, in those MMOs in low level areas, never getting to max levels and never doing high level contents. The only times I got to max level was in Guild Wars and LOTRO by solely focusing on one of my alts, my lore-master. So personally I'm proud of these accomplishments that I've done here.

I got 2 out of my 3 characters into the end game at lvl 50; the last one is 37 as of this post. After that, I'll clear the 2.55 story with at least one of them. I'm leaving the state in July, so I want to at least try out Heavensward content before I go.

All jobs, gatherers, and crafters to 50, cleared Steps of Faith before nerf, Cleared T13 and getting that bish on farm status, Finished both of my tank relics, and made back all 10 million gil stolen from my FC's bank by a back stabbing officer plus more in preparation to get a Large house for the FC in 3.0.

My favorite was my group for Savage trying for like 7 days to down T7 Savage then going in one night and one shotting it for the win.

I would say my biggest achievements thus far are getting 73/80 Triple Triad cards and every single Triple Triad achievement in the game thus far.

I played the game all through 2.x and thoroughly enjoyed it.

My goal was to finish my zeta bow before the expansion. Did that pretty early(ish) so I was like... level all the classes I'm interested in and gear them up. Did that too (except for LNC, PGL, MRD but I don't care about them).

so THEN I started gathering since crafting doesn't interest me...now my goal is to get all my gatherers leveled (only botanist left) and get my miner Supra. I don't actually think I have enough time to get Lucis simply because of the HQ Antumbral Rocks, unless I play constantly and never, ever do anything else (like sleep, eat, work...).

I started this game being terrified of Coil and raiding in general, and never planning to set foot in it. I now have Out of a Bind III and could not be more grateful to all the people who pushed me, encouraged me, gave me advice, and celebrated my static's victories.
