Personal Accomplishment Time!

For a large majority of us, our adventures in 2.0 are coming to a close & soon we'll be zipping about Eorzea's skys and exploring a battle torn Ishgard...the list goes on. So, I think now would be a good time for us all to look back at the good old days.

My greatest accomplishment is clearing Steps of Faith before the nerf. LOL.

Honestly, completeing my zeta, clearing coil up to t9 and leveling all but 3 of my combat classes to 50.

Running a static from 2.0 to 2.55 with 5 other people the entire way through. Of the static, we had to replace 2 players because of various reasons. It brought me tremendous pride to see us all grow and I'm so deeply in debt to all of them. It was a fun group, and we cleared each turn weeks/months before the new turns came out.

In ten more levels I will have all the classes to 50 (working on MNK.) In ten levels, one dungeon, 24 mobs, and 5 trials, I will have completed all base relic weapons and have the title "The Insatiable."

Didn't get to finish a Zeta, but I'll probably finish a few of them after the inevitable nerf in 3.1.

But the biggest accomplishment for me was getting our mansion in Lavender Beds. We're a tiny FC, and I had to put up about a third of the gil for it, but we did it.

Hmm I have a few. Zeta relics for both Ninja and Whitemage.. getting Turn 5 cleared ^0^ and managing to make enough gil to buy a medium for the hubby and I!

Finally being able to have my character officially marry my boyfriend's character - it's something we had both been waiting for since we met in FFXI, but because we both played girl characters, we couldn't make use of the official marriage system in FFXI (which could only be done between characters of the opposite sex). But finally, here in FFXIV, seeing my Enki with her beloved Jing at the Ceremony of Eternal Bonding was well worth all that wait:


I know it's just a little thing which a lot of players couldn't care about, but it's still an important part of the game to me and something I'm proud to have accomplished with my bf (along with sharing it with my friends and family).

Something more mundane, I also have all Disciples of War and Magic at level 50 - and I did it almost entirely solo by FATEs/quests/leves/Hunting Log/beastmen dailies. Who says you have to level using dungeons?

Have to say one of my biggest accomplishments has to be getting my goon Zeta weapon pre-nerf and of course the satisfaction I felt clearing Twintania for the first time. Sad thing though many of us are going to Ishgard there is still many things left undone in Eorzea....Time to start feeling nostalgic.
