Yes, there's four possible rings you can get.

    To gain power.
    Ring of Fortitude
    Critical Hit Rating +1

    To win glory.
    Ring of Fidelity
    Vitality +1

    To amass a fortune.
    Ring of Fortune
    CP (crafting points) +8

    ...
    Ring of Freedom
    Determination +1

If you're interested in crafting, the Ring of Fortune is the best (actually the only) crafting ring for the first 17 levels. The next ring available won't come until level 18 when you can get a Brass Ring of Crafting, which boosts CP by 9 or 10 points rather than 8.

Any of the other rings are useful for combat classes, but only for the first 8 levels. By level 9, Disciples of War are better off with a Copper Ring which boosts Strength and Dexterity, while Disciples of Magic are better off with a Bone Ring which boosts Intelligence and Mind.

The difference in how long they remain useful makes the Ring of Fortune a clear winner for anyone who plans on getting into the crafting part of the game as well as combat. But it's useless if you aren't into crafting. The others aren't useful for as long, but everybody follows at least a few of the combat classes.
