Challenge Mode - Sync to Min iLvl

Could we possibly get a mode that would allow us to re-experience prior content at its near-original difficulty before it is all made obsolete by 3.0?

I would very much like to re-explore certain fights that gear has since made disappointingly easy without having to spend incredible amounts of time and inventory space to find full sets of i70, i75, i80... i90... and so forth to match the minimum (or near thereto) ilvl of the instance, especially given that the ilvl-sync function is already in place in the game. I particularly like what it can do for new players, as not to be automatically made carries by nature of their in-progress (can also read: appropriate or near-fitting level) gear.

In case you missed it this has been annouced. An option in DF will be made available to go with minimal ilvl required. All being implemented in 3.0 it seems.

I'd heard about this but could never find the link.
Honestly though, my main hope was just to see it before 2.0 content becomes totally obsolete (for all purposes but entertainment) so that those preparing now for Heavensward could get a stab at finding parties before they all leave for the North.

You're asking for an update before the expansion, < 12 days before the expansion?
