red mage and a REAL dragoon (ie, with wyvern)
.
I understand the sentiment but dunno if it would work in context of the lore. The Dragoons are the knights of Ishgard specializing in destroying their ancient enemies, the dragons. That tends to include all dragonlike creatures as well from what we've seen so far in the quests, any Dragoon with a wyvern pet would probably be labeled a heretic and a dragon sympathizer.

Dancer, personally. It's my main job in XI after all >_>
I'd like it too but one major caveat: Change the weapon, or change the name.
Granted since DRK are getting 2h swords, the former is more likely...but it always bugged me that a rune FENCER uses 2 handed swords -_-
I mean I know if you take a more esoteric definition it can make sense but...when most people think "fencer," they think rapiers.
Though if they go with rapiers, i'd prefer it be red mage.

Bravely Default has the Rune Fencer Job and they wield one-handed swordsI'd like it too but one major caveat: Change the weapon, or change the name.

Though if they go with rapiers, i'd prefer it be red mage.. They don't have to take everything word-for-word out of XI, I would like them creating these new Jobs while looking at the other FF games too ^^.
I never play XI so I don't know about the class there.
Is it same with XIV or different?

Samurai, we need a DPS class that can dual wield swords.
