Here.Apparently, there are going to include the remaining ironworks weapons for the new jobs, as they did with the sold weapon when NIN was released. Granted, that happened in a different scenario where that weapon was still useful. But some people saw in the Benchmark video a DRK using an Ironworks Greatsword.

If you were already saving you could buy your 10 tokens for the weapon already and still cap your Poetics in time for Heavensward. There are still two weeks left before early access which gives you a total of 1800 if you were already capped this week and were at a 0 balance.
Wouldn't be a bad idea to cap out Soldiery and Allied Seals as well. Never know what they're going to add. Not to mention, initially they'll make Soldiery the trade-in currency and uncap Poetics if they follow the previous patterns. Soldiery would become Law.
Saving for two reasons. One, as stated above, the Ironworks weapon will be a great help for leveling. Two, it's quite likely that we will be able to convert Poetics to the new seals, just like we could all the previous currencies, and if this is the case, I want my seals, even if it's only a 4:1 ratio like before.

Depends on if you really need gear. I don't need it at all, so I'm pretty much about to cap it this week, might buy a ring or something and cap it off for real next week but just so poetics don't got to waste.
Do we actually know that tomestones of soldiery and poetics will even be retired at this time? Will people who don't buy Heavensward have access to the new tiers? Maybe what exists for ARR will be left as it is for awhile.
I've been wondering by what means Ironworks gear will be available after the expansion. Maybe it will still be sold for poetics. They could easily offer a token exchange for Heavensward players that still want the old gear.
The command /sigh does not exist.

It hasn't been confirmed yet, which is why I said if they follow the previous patterns. Regardless of if they allow for exchanges or not, you still never know what they're going to add in that uses them. So capping all current seals is never a bad idea given the fact that it can give you a jump on the market if they add something desirable for crafting or what have you.Do we actually know that tomestones of soldiery and poetics will even be retired at this time? I'm not sure we'll be able to trade in old Tomestones for new ones in the expansion. In all previous cases where we could trade in currency, both currencies were for the same level. In the expansion one currency will be for level 50 gear and the other for level 60 gear, I could see why Square wouldn't have a trade in feature in that case.
A true paladin... will sheathe his sword.
Any gear you plan on getting now will have an equivalent dropped in a dungeon for 0 Poetics, so I'd suggest saving them for Poetic weapons on DRK/AST/MCH if you plan to play them. If not, still would likely be better to save them incase they're used to purchase the mats for crafted gear or w/e.

IF you plan on leveling some of the new classes, depending on which one. Buy the gear relevant to the one you're leveling![]()
