Looking for group for expansion prep

Hey all!

I have been playing off and on since release, mainly because I have been playing alone. I subbed last month and spent the entire time in the Golden Saucer only leaving to collect cards from NPC's. I didn't have much interest in going out alone. I really want to start playing the expansion on release, but I currently have only beaten the main story and I think the first part of CT. So I am currently looking for a group of players who are relatively close to the position I am in.

I am not really interested in joining a large FC, would join a small FC. I wouldn't mind creating a FC, the community I am part of would love to expand into FFXIV. Actually, I would honestly prefer to create a new FC for the community.

My main goal is to get ready for the expansion. If I do not make it to that point by the time of release, oh well, hopefully I made some new friends by then at least. Anyways, thanks for reading! Let me know if you are interested.

It may help to elaborate on how you define small, sense that will vary wildly from person to person. How many people online at once would feel just right for you ? 5 ? 10 ? 20 ?

<Miso> For example is in the small-medium range of 15-25 active users at a time. <Lewd> on other hand is more around 10-15. Both are filled with very nice people btw.

As a personal suggestion. PrimalFaerieFriends offer a really amazing community. It very small group of 25 people or so but all of them are very active and been together for a long time. You will usually see 7-10 online at any given time which is very impressive for their size.

Thanks! Small probably was not the best way to describe what I am looking for. I think something along the lines of a tight-knit community (Kinda....Maybe....Idk lol). Something where everyone knows everyone and they all work together to have a good time. For instance, my community, WiseGamer, we are all friends and we all like to hang out and play games with anyone and everyone. It's not as tight as I would like, but that is because we don't like to say no to member applications. Also, no one plays FFXIV and that is why I am here lol. Anyways, before I get too off topic, that is a better description of what I am looking for lol.

Oh I see, so just looking for a social guild with a tight clique. Although I imagine almost every social FC would claim to have a tight knit group of people. My guild tries to go other way. To be able to simultaneous make a place where everyone is glad to see you come online, a friendly place where every member is a close as family. But at same time very anti-clique where everyone is treated equally. I would definitely check out Miso and Lewd. Both have tight knit communities from what I seen.
