PS3 support is being dropped at the end of Heavensward (Developers said as much). The next expansion after HW is not going to be open to ps3, so I doubt they will make much, if any modifcations for ps3 users going forward.

Honestly, a lot of users QoL complaints regarding UI etc are a result of the fact that everything has to be trimmed down to be able to run on the ps3's quite low RAM.
