I think we need a cooler-sounding name than "Grit" for Dark Knights' Tank-stance

With the offensive ability being called "Darkside", which sounds *awesome*, I feel like we need a cooler-sounding alternative to the name "Grit". In no particular order, here are a few alternatives I might pick:

- Judgement
- Retribution
- Resolve
- Dreadnaught
- Fate
- Oblivion
- Arrogance
- Wrath
- Honor

Again, just my personal picks. I definitely think something beyond "Grit" would be good, though.

Well I would say Wrath is out for obvious reasons, lol. But out of the ones you mentioned, I think Resolve sounds best since it sounds defensive in nature. But looking at past dark knight abilities, I think terms like souleater, charon, or dark seal, might be better, as they fit with dark knight lore, but that doesn't mean they should necessarily use those names just s thought.

Yeah Wrath are the stacks Warriors get when they are in Defiance, that's the only reason. Oh and apparently based on a doc I found, that someone from a Heavensward event made, Soul Eater is out since it's the name of one of their moves, not surprising though, lol.

I might be in the minority here, but I like "Grit". It makes me think of John Wayne. And if you're telling me you don't want to be John Wayne with a zweihander, well you're just plain wrong.

Plus, after a while all the dictionary.com synonyms tend to blend together until your hotbar is the lyrics to a Dragonforce song.

"Grit" does sound plain and not very Dark Knightish for me... But they said the names are not final so maybe it'll be changed if we complain loud enough.

I'm assuming "Grit" is a reference to the Berserk Japanese Manga in which Yoshi-P stated they took inspiration from. Look up Guts FAQ (main character) and then remember the Raubahn final cut scenes. I learned about it on Deathbattle (YouTube).

I honestly don't remember any reference of Grit from Berserk. Guts/Gatsu, sure, but grit?

The name seems fine to me, especially with Soul Eater, Deliverance (my personal favorite - feels a bit Reaper-ish along with several other possible ways to construe the meaning), etc. already being taken by other moves/jobs/mechanics.
