    Mouse button issue

Hope i am asking this in the right spot. i have been trying to find a answer for this but have come up with nothing.

I am using a Logitech M510 mouse, it has two side buttons, i would like to use them in game(instead of ctrl to use hotbar 2/3/etc) but can find no way to get the game to register that they are there. they are set to forward/back by default in the mouse software. i have tried setting them too other keys suck as page up/down, but that doesnt work either.

is there a way to get the game to register those 2 buttons?

Can you set them to CTRL or ALT? Or any other key? They should work as a double for the keyboard and in Keybind menu ingame you can assign some rarely used buttons to one of your hotbars and then set your mouse to this keys.

It is probably an issue with the driver layers--not hooking into the Logitech software, but the Microsoft API instead. May want to see if you can configure the mouse using the Windows Mouse control panel (main.cpl from Search/Run box)) to respond to the extra buttons somehow. Had to do this with my old 5-button cordless trackball in the past--mouseware settings wouldn't always get picked up properly, but the Windows Mouse control panel had options for assigning the buttons. When I assigned them there things started working properly for the most part.

Had this problem way way back last year for unknown reasons, issue seemed to go away for no real obvious reason.

Opened up game client today, suddenly M4 and M5 just don't respond at all. Restarted the game client repeatedly, still not working. I am extremely vexed by this problem.
