I love having security as much as the next person, but is it really necessary to force a password change just because I swap ISPs? A simple email allowing me to verify that it is indeed me trying to login on this new connection would suffice.

I know it seems like a minor gripe, but when other services do this same thing it gets incredibly frustrating having to create new passwords for what should be a simple confirmation.

Nah. It's fine the way it is. If you refuse to use the OTP app/dongle to remove those (and get a free teleport bookmark), that's your choice.

If you use the security token you won't have to change any time you switch. Like how I play at home for endgame and etc and in laptop at work to gather and craft. I never change password since I bring token with me.

Huh? I used to be on PPPOE and would get a new IP everyday even before I got the OTP app and never had my account locked out for having wildly (yet same country origin) IPs.

Did you even read the post or just skim over it? They already send you an email asking you to confirm it, but they insist on you changing your password to do so. How does me having some silly token change that other than forcing me to type in TWO passwords every time I login?
