Addressing Leechers in Crystal Tower

Hello everyone,

doing the weekly CT runs I've encountered a lot of "Leechers" in the past weeks. Players often participate in first fight(s), but as soon as the first "loot yielding" Boss is pulled, they stop.

Especially yesterday in CT1 we were a premade Party of 5 People and had 3 Leechers with us. From the time the first Boss (Dragon with Skeletons) was pulled they went on autofollow on someone and stopped participating in any fight. The onliest thing one of them did was opening the treasure Box as quick as possible.

Since you are unable to kick People while loot is up or mid battle we had no Chance to remove them from the duty since it was either battle preventing us or the loot which they did not roll on. The onliest possible window to kick them would have been between a bosses death to the opening of a treasure chest, which 1 of the leechers literally "camped". A solution would be: Lower the Loot Timer to 120 Seconds. It would be nice if this issue could be addressed.

Huh, never happened something like this yet..... the only thing in CT1 for now i get is the fact people don't like to follow mechanics O_O

I've met those leechers. Majority BLM. They only put some damage to boss and then stop attacking.

The tanks refused to stop pulling so we could kick a leech BRD >.>. I never do Labyrinth at the end of the week anymore. I can't wait till we have the lowest ilvl sync.

tell your alliances to wait until you can kick them. if they refuse to wait then tell your party to stay out of the boss room. if the alliances get wiped you'll have time to kick the leechers anyway.

Pretty much exactly how I handle it. It's even easier if you're in a 5 man premade.

Yeah, just boot 'em. Then report 'em, especially if this is a recurring thing.

Asking the fellow alliances should work fine; I'm sure they would be glad to get rid of people like that.

Don't forget how GMs have said they won't punish someone for "having a different playstyle".

Not according to this GM i talked to when I reported someone in WOD who refused to help the party but would gladly roll on loot.
