I can't be the only one excited for machinist?!

i'm expected for MCH..........esp. with its cool mechanics, grenades, 2 different turrets, support functions, charge up unctions like megaman, reload, and firing combo mechanic. I think that sounds exciting for a new job.
I think cuz its ff and more people like the medieval style much more.

I'm looking forward to it. I main bard, and generally am most comfortable with ranged DPS, so machinist is pretty much a gimme for me to pick up. I'll experiment with the two at 60 to see which I'll settle on as my main DPS.

For those saying that machinist isn't a support class... well no, it is primarily a DPS class, but it's got pretty solid support, easily enough to at least rival bard songs. Assuming spoilers are correct, they pretty much have a shot that gives access to just about all of the debuffs currently possible in the game. Bind/Heavy/Slow/Stun/Silence/Phys dmg down/Mag dmg down/Knockback... granted apparently some of these share cooldowns, but that said a skilled machinist who can use the right debuff shot at the right time during a boss fight is going to be a boon to pretty much any raid. Add the TP/MP regen turret, and that's some pretty solid raid utility right there.

This for me too. Though I'll probably continue to main Bard, depending on how much I like machinist it could be a toss-up.

The new job I care the least is machinist.

It'll probably be the last one I'll level up to 60 after all other old and new jobs.

But I'm glad you guys are excited for it, variety is always good in any party =D

Wanted Corsair, got Machinist. Kinda underwhelming, especially when TERA came out with a gunner class that looks 500x more fun.

But I understand why some people are excited for Machinist. I might try it out at some point too, even if it's not what I want it to be.

MCH looks like a great addition to the game, but personally I don't like having less DPS and more support abilities... That's just my opinion on it, but it's needed to make the game more interesting.

I heard someone say that the buff in DPS BRDs are getting (and I assume MCH is pretty equal), would put them ahead of BLM/SMN and even the melee DPS... But that's not true. Every job is getting an increase in potency for their rotation, and I'm expecting it to be the same relative to other jobs. Also, melee DPS is always gonna be ahead of every other job when it comes DPS.

DRK and AST just looks very cool, and we know more about them. Except for how the turrets will work, we don't know all that much about MCH really... We don't even know how their MP/TP regen will differ from BRD. Will you only use it as rare as you use MP/TP songs on BRD? or will it be for longer periods of the fight...

Anyway, i was 100,000,000,000% excited for machnist, but after surviving the Roguepacolypse, i'm never, EVER getting on the DPS leveling rush train again.
