I can't be the only one excited for machinist?!

From the moment I saw the class announced I was super incredibly excited for the machinist and their playstyle.

However I have in game and on various forums not seen much hype at all for them, how come?

Most people I see/talk to are going crazy over AST or DRK but not many people are seeming to talk about the machinist!

Personally, im not going to touch mch at all because I typically prefer the 'medieval fantasy' aspect of the game with armours and weapons and magic etc

Mch's modern motif doesn't appeal to me in the same way i dislike the ironworks sets right now (fortunately I don't raid or do lots of end game content), which I have gotten none to date.

I wanted to play this class as soon as I saw it as well. And once I finished catching up with the story I decided to start farming poetic tomes to gear it.

thank god, im not the only one who thinks this way, though with that said i'll end up leveling it up at some point just to have everything level capped

I like it and I'll give it a try most definitely then once I've got both Summoner and Machinist to 60 I'll see which I like better to be my main.

I think one contributing factor (though certainly not the only one) is that MCH hasn't really had as much information revealed about it as AST and DRK have. So far for MCH it's something like "You have a 123 combo, and the combo has procs for extra damage or something, but you can reload to force the procs. Also there are turrets and barrels, with the turrets being AOE or single target, and the barrels being like BRD's new WM. Also, the turrets can change modes to be a TP or MP battery."

Basically, there's a fair amount of info, but it's all somewhat vague, imo.

80% of the reason I came back to the game was for machinist and when I found out it was a support class (which is my favorite type in all games)... I practically fainted.

Machinist is the job I've more or less been waiting for. Aside from being a total steampunk nerd, I've always preferred support classes in MMOs.
