SE Wont Fix What Was Stolen From Me

I had messaged SE about what what going on with my Free Company. I had gotten into a dispute with one of my FC members. In my FC is only 4 people. Me, my wife, My uncle and a friend. The Friend and i got into a dispute and we stoped being friends on ps4. i had moved in real life cause me and my wife got our own place. i was finally able to get back on FF, and to my supprise.The Friend had gotten promoted to FC master and kicked everyone from the FC. He took all our gil, items, everything. If this is not a theft idk what is. SE says that it is out of there hands cause of the patch that they put through after 35 days or something, guild master is changed if he has not been on. i get that. but we were kicked from our FC that i made. and all our stuff was stolen. Anyone have any ideas what else i can do? i dont talk to the friend anymore. so theres nothing there. hes to arrogant.

I don't think there is anything to be done. Hes the FC leader and can do that. Sorry it happened, but even if it is a dick move, he had the right as soon as he becomes leader. Take away from it though, that you should cut ties immediatly after such a falling out and should have removed him from the FC. Better to cut your losses and forget him.

Edit: also naming names like that is only going to get you in trouble here, and have no impact on him, so I would probably edit out that part.

He didn't take your money and items. He took the FC's money and items. The rules are, the FC's stuff doesn't belong to you. It belongs to the FC. The rules also say that if you don't log in in a certain amount of time, you lose control of your FC. That's not stealing things, that's abandoning them. If you didn't realize you were abandoning them, well, I think you should probably pay closer attention to things in the future.

The same thing happened to me, except there was no dispute at all. The leaders of my FC (which I created) became inactive, and leadership was transferred to a random FC member. This person took it upon themselves to kick everyone out of the FC, and leave a level 1 alt as GM. Thankfully, we decided to begin the expansion on another server, or we would've lost our FC name (which is the same as our RL clan name) ... I wrote a ticket to SE asking if they could investigate the matter and they said that they could not. We were a very friendly and laid back FC, and there was absolutely nothing that might have precipitated this player's actions. I feel that there should be some kind of recourse for players who do this. I find it difficult to accept that SE refuse to investigate matters like this. My FC members all donated Gil for our plot and shared items in the bank, so the fact that this player seemingly took it all for himself and booted everyone out, is just plain wrong.

Everybody reading this who's an officer in an FC should review who's in the top ranks, and if there are concerns re: some of the people it could potentially be transferred to, discuss that with the FC lead. How I *believe* it works based on what I've seen is it looks at the next rank of users in the hierarchy, and then picks the one that's been in the FC the longest.

It's important to set up several levels IMO, because when an FC lead stops playing it's possible other officers have as well, and so it might have to go down three or four ranks to find someone eligible- and it's not ideal for it to choose someone from the general membership rank.

Also, the leaders of my first FC quit the game prior to the handover rule, and two or three officers cleaned out the chest to start their own FC's... some of that was gil I'd donated towards a planned move from a small to a medium house. Moral of that story- any large amounts you're planning to donate to the FC, just keep it at your retainer until it's needed.

@OP- I hope you're able to get some payback (without violating the ToS). While you can't name & shame him in game or on the SE forums without getting in trouble, you do have his gamer tag and with that can most likely figure out what other multiplayer games he plays where his reputation might be important to him.
