Why do I see summoners using Titan egi in frontlines?

He may just be channeling those dark times when Titan was the giant wiping sponge between your party and a relic weapon.

It wasn't really tanks' faults back then, as long as they memorized mountain buster.

It was DPS who could not dodge landslides and the fact you needed to save LB3 just to have a shot at heart for most groups. Our gear was terrible then, the absolute top tier gear you could get was ilvl 90, and the vast majority of gear people had was ilvl 60 (amdapor). I'm willing to bet a lot of players still can't beat titan at ilvl 60.
