Why do I see summoners using Titan egi in frontlines?

Why do I always see summoners using Titan egi in frontlines? I don't get it, he's weaker than ifrit, and just as easy to kill and it's not like there's any enmity system on pc's in this game, ifrit at least has his flame shield to damage anyone that attacks him.

So why do I see so many summoners use Titan instead of ifrit or Garuda? What benefits does he bring to frontlines?

2x the health yes, but everything Titan has, Ifrit also has at higher damage (Radiant Shield vs Earthen Ward is basically a irrelevant comparison). The only slightly notable thing is Flaming Crush (AoE) has a 30s cooldown where the comparable Mountain Buster has 15s. Both of their stuns (Crimson Cyclone, Landslide) are 40s.

Titan basically does 66% of the damage Ifrit does at all times.

He still drops like the rock that he is if you decide to kill him, ifrit also has a stun, titan's AoE is not a stun.

If we are talking about solo playing or something like that, i use it to tank the mobs. Any Smn can heal him very easily without a problem.

It's just there to annoy people. Since literally anything can interrupt a caster, something 'beefy' beating on you is going to be annoying. Dots don't really last long enough to make Garuda super useful, but don't quote me on this. A SMN main in Frontline can tell you better.

They're talking about PvP.

But even in PvE Titan is useless for standard solo play since every solo-friendly mob or mob grouping at or below character level can be killed before it becomes a danger. The situations where you would actually appreciate Titan tanking and don't have a player tank with you are sadly rare (sure, you can have Titan tank a boss FATE like Gorgimera for you, but why would you want to?).

for stuns, if you smn him with vit gear on he has a huge health pool and sustain heals alot!

Its more often than not just to be annoying to opponents.

At lower lvls, topaz/titan is handy especially when doing fates.
Titan is good for fun runs of stuff or if you want to go full dps/heals its possible for titan to tank all of BCOB par t4 due to need for burst emnity so often imo.

I dont know about anyone else, but for some reason I just go to Attack Titan every time it uses a move and forget about everything else most of the time. Fck Points and other PC's...something about Titan Skills just makes me want to attack it more.
