    Game crashes after character selection

    After fiddling for a bit with various things i eventually remembered i can reset settings from the launcher, and it worked, hope this helps others with the same issue.

    Hi there i play on Odin and since Monday i have been unable to get into game, i manage to log in on the launcher.

    The game starts and i can select my character, once i select it i go to the world loading screen and the moment i hear the 'you got mail/ you got a friend invite' sound, the game crashes and exits to desktop with a windows error.

    I have changed my sound output down to 44100hz that has no effect.

    I have done a complete reinstall of the game, that did not work either.

    I asked my brother who also plays FFxiv to log in from his personal computer with my account, and he was able to log in and tend to my gardens (thank goodness, wild onions are expensive yeah).

    Please advise me on how to solve this error is it client related or on my side, will appreciate any help.
