They did mention a while back that they'd like to add an Equipment Log, but they weren't sure if they could or when it would happen, mainly because that would increase the amount of data per character, which I'm sure would add up quickly.

I've heard that rumor too. It would be cool, but I don't think I'll hold my breath on this one until I see it in the patch notes. Just like I won't believe we'll ever be able to send messages to our alts until I see it in the notes. Though I admit it doesn't stop me from wishing...

I'd imagine being able to mail one of your alts would come in sooner than an Equipment Log, because that's easy and wouldn't really take much data space vs the Equipment Log. We already have a lot of different equipment for each slot, and even half of them getting spots in the log would be a LOT of data per character.
