xfr off Mateus or still alive?

Just renewed my sub and curious how things are atm. I have been gone since just after crystal tower was released so about year and halfish. Have not followed anything on ffxiv so no clue as to state of the game or server.

Couple questions would be is it worth coming back.

Also would i need to transfer to a more populated server i do remember that mateus population was getting kinda low back then.

Any comments would be welcome thanks.

The Endgame Raiding population is still low. The server is mid-sized as new players and people return preparing for 3.0. If you have friends here or join a good FC you won't have an issue with getting things done. S/N; Your Profile Pic looks like a Mug Shot or you took a picture for a Chocobo license and was having a bad day

I think like Anima said, you can accomplish those things you've missed out on if you find a good group of people to play with. It's still a smaller server, but achieving endgame is possible. Definitely worth coming back! The first thing you'll probably want to do though is finish up the story so you can access all of the heavensward content, then you can worry about the newer raids like whatever you've got left of Coil and Syrcus Tower/World of Darkness. It's actually a pretty good time to tackle those raids though, lots of people even on Mateus trying to do them before Heavensward hits!

Yea, Guess i would need to find a FC that does the raid content all my of friends list says deleted so im assuming they xfr off server and the FC is no more.

If you'd like I can drop you a FC invite to the one I'm in (or you can apply on your own), Lost Horizons. People are super friendly, willing to help those of us who are behind in content (for example those who are in final coil helped all of us who have yet to clear t5 through over the last few weeks and we've got an EX primal catch up night this coming Wednesday). Either way, I will probably send you a friend request next time I'm on and would be happy to run some content with you sometime!
