Will you be swapping your main in Heavensward?

Can't tell without trying out the job, but I feel like I'm likely gonna either swap to MCN, or alternate between BRD and MCN based on what content I'm doing. On paper, the two jobs look pretty comparable, but I feel like Weapon Break and Mind Shot will make MCN a bit more useful in raid content over BRD.

I dunno, I feel like there's enough new information out where people are able to make a REASONABLY educated guess about what jobs they will enjoy. Obviously, nothing in this thread is concrete, I was mostly just curious to see what people were hyped about. So far the winner seems to be Astrologian, though it looks like there's a healthy interest in SMN, DRK, and MCN as well.

Healer and DPS? Lolno.
Tank? I never really had a main for that, Warrior was the closest thing to feeling how I wanted a tank to be. DRK may oust that, once again becoming a main of mine like in FFXI.

I'll be picking up AST for both healing and Roleplaying purposes, but it'll be my secondary job. Main's gonna stay BRD. An alt of mine will be switching between PLD and DRK though, more for rp than anything else.

I'll definitely be giving dark knight a go as soon as possible, but it's likely I'll still identify as a monk main. I love tanking, but I like the dynamics of my current class. That said, having both tanks and all of the melee at 50, I love them all (and switch frequently to keep things fresh). I can't wait to add dark knight to it all.
