Will you be swapping your main in Heavensward?

I think there's enough info out about how the new jobs will play, as well as about additions to our current jobs, that people can start reasonably speculating/theorizing about what job they will want to main in Heavensward. Myself, I've always been a support/buffer healer in other MMOs, and feel like the Astrologian will give me a lot that I've been looking for out of a job in this game. My current, soon-to-be-former main is SMN, and I like the changes that they've done to the job as well, especially Tri-Disaster (though I hope it using an Aetherflow stack was a mistranslation, as stacks are already in short supply on SMN).

Thoughts? I'd love to see some solid new discussion about what people think of the new jobs, as well as the new skills they've added to our existing jobs.

II absolutely love what they did with the newj obs- way better than I expected.I'm going to try tanking for the 1st time in FF and hope I don't suck to badly. My current main is NINJA but Dragoon looks to be my main dps...and love MNK...just a lot of good choicces to be honest. For my alt I want her to be be AST- AsT def sounds like the support class that people been looking for. And wanna try Machinist and Bard.

For me, AST feels like the perfect class/job ever in a game for me.
It just feels of who I am.
I am a huge Astrological/Zodiac/Tarot fan. I like Oracle's, Psychic's, fortune tellers and all that.
I love Star gazing and the constellations so this fits me. What AST has, is what I wanted BARD to have.
AST feels like a SUPPORT job that I've been dying to have.

Doubtful, none of the jobs seem interesting to me, although I'll certainly level them to 60 anyway because that's how I roll

My Job? Maybe. Depends on how Dark Knight plays and whether its more a main tank or off tank. Likely, though, I'll be staying Warrior

I'm going to play machinist instead of summoner. If I don't like machinist, then I will probably go back to summoner. I am keeping white mage as my second main job though, and just focusing on those 2.

I doubt it. I love my WHM too much to ever leave it. I'll definitely try out the new classes--they seem fun to play around with.
