Steps:
Walk up to the correct Sightseeing Log position (as confirmed by others at the same area, Youtube videos, images and guides). Do not get the 'You have arrived at the vista!' message, therefore cannot complete the log. Correct weather and time confirmed.

Vistas 001 - 020 must be completed first, then turned in to the npc Milith Ironheart at Apkallu Falls. Vistas 021+ will be unavailable until you unlock them via this method.

I have completed vistas 1-20 a long time ago.

Do you have the quest "a sight to behold" marked complete in gridania sidequest gridania sub section, it is lv 20. Or have you tried getting any other spots post 20 and had a similar issue?

If you haven't finished the quest the expanded log does not unlock.

I am on 69/80 sightseeing logs done, so yes I have completed the quest and no this has not happened with any other location, just this one.
