Probably because of the windows 8 reception. At release it lacked some basic features, and a lot of incompatibilities. Still has quite a few problems.Lol at not being able to shut down the computer without first logging off.
Also the interface is really awkward to use. It should never have been released as a pc version imo.


Considering all that im not surprised people want to wait and see first, with windows 10.
