Red Mage is just such classic FF, it's inevitable eventually. Just a matter of how long!

Well I mean besides that it's not terribly difficult to stat out. You just make an INT-based class that uses rapiers. The main problem is people thinking "They need to fit into one role and red mage is all three". Just make it a melee/ranged deeps that uses INT as a main stat for both, and you're gold.
