For the forums, can we get a picture of our in game char as our avatar?

I'm starting to get quite comfortable being African-American on these forums but I would like to look like my in-game self too.

Given that our forum profiles already have to be linked to an active character, this request shouldn't be a stretch by any means.

What would be really cool is if we could also customise the avatar with a number of clothing options. But at the very least, have it do what the signature generators do and reflect the lodestone's status.

In fact when looking at our character info on the lodestone website account it gives us a thumbnail view of the character we've created. How come we can't select that as a forum avatar since it's sort of already there?

To be totally honest I hadn't even noticed that huge chunk of grey on the right side of my screen till Xenor mentioned widescreen.

On the right side of my screen is a chibified SoS Brigade sitting around talking and playing mahjong, so usually that distracted me from the lack of anything being there.

Now that it's mentioned though it'd be nice to have it centered and maybe arch out that stone wall effect maybe a mosaic design to fill the empty space, just for the sake of eye candy.
