So, they made Odin it's own trial. Are they finally going to do the same with Behemoth? I want some of that gear but never know when the bugger will pop. I don't want to waste my time sitting there waiting for it either. With Heavensward on its way its going to become irrelevant soon so please, make it easier to come by.

Why are people so hellbent on making 2.0 "irrelevant"? It might not be relevant to you but it will be relevant to new players as it's required for heavensward.

The OP is asking for another way to get Behemoth horns so he can get the behemoth gear.

Odin FATE vs Behemoth FATE are 2 different beasts entirely.

Some reasons Odin probably became his own trial is
1) His FATE required a TON of cooperation and a ton of people.
2) Typically depending on the time of day the Odin FATE failed more frequently, Behemoth fates are almost a guaranteed success as he doesn't have many hard mechanics.
3) Even though both have 2-3 day timers, finding Odin vs finding Behemoth(always spawns in the same Location) was harder.
4) As someone above mentioned Behemoth has other iterations of himself in the game already vs Odin only being see able via his FATE.
5) And probably the main reason, the main glamour for the Odin Mantels is unuseable with the glamour system.

Odin Trial doesn't drop his tokens either so there is still reason for others to do the Odin FATE, not making 3.0 cause it to be irrelevant, so Behemoth won't exactly be irrelevant either. Plus he is an Elder Primal vs Behemoth being a Notorious Monster, more akin to a hunt. I can't see them making him a trial but my advice would be to join a Hunt LS that is still semi active. Typically Odin and Behemoth also end up being called out as well and with 3.0 a lot of these Hunt LSes should be picking back up again. Also Behemoth/Odin LSes might become a thing again (if not just un-officially merged with Hunts in general) as there will be more newer players coming along vs all of the older players who originally made the LSes and have no more use for them.

This is sort of like saying I want coil gear without running coil.. you want drops? find him. The Odin trial doesnt give the same items as the tokens from odin fate. And heavensward will certainly not prevent behemoth from spawning and being killed, in fact you might see more people trying to kill him with the influx of new and returning players.

Also for now Behemoth is away from a regular main route, while in HW it will be just at the side of a regular main route. While in the corner is nothing else for now beside Snowcloak and Behemoth, in HW it is the route to Western Highlands. More people travel there, more people are at place, ready to jump at the Behemoth FATE the momen it pop up.

Wow, that's some bad luck! I almost never see Behe fate spawn (considerably less often than Odin at least), but I still got a stack of horns by now...
