    New Ennemies !

    Playing Dark Souls,I thought I'd like to defeat the Ruin Sentinels in FF14

    Which new ennemy would you like to see in FFXIV ?



    • The Hell House/Armstrong (FF7/9)



    • Sorceress (FF8)



    • Abadon (FF8) ( We need more undead ennemies )



    • Namul Niram ( The Last Remnant )

    Maybe we could have elemental lords if we could have dungeons for the The Twelve.

    Something like Water Lord for Thaliak & Nymeia Temple, Wind Lord for LLymlaen & Oschon...



    Or maybe the Four Fiends from FF4 ^^

    I know it really shouldn't, but the fact that there is a space before the exclamation point in this thread's title is bothering me.....

    Typing rules in some countries require a space before and after any double punctuation ("!", ":", ";" or "?").

    On subject, I'd really like to see FFxii's espers coming, but one theory I had about Belias is that he's just Ifrit known by an other name for an other civilization. Would be cool to have more info about that in the incoming SMN quests ^^

    This game is missing a large chunk of undead (and probably for the reason of trying to release in china). That being said, if they get added, I would like to see their real mechanics like in 8, were you can heal to damage and use a rez to kill (with some percentage, like the death spell in 13).

As it is, targeting an enemy and casting a healing spell means you heal yourself, and can sometimes be easier to work with if you need a quick heal than just targeting yourself, (especially during solo play when you're already targeting the enemy). I could see it being implemented in a mid dungeon boss fight however, with some sort of NPC object that the healers can cast their spells on to "charge" it, at which point it activates as an AoE healing blast that damages the boss while healing the players....

    You can also heal yourself by not selecting a target if that's really issue. There's probably just a line of code that says that if you don't have a legal target for the heal (i.e. a PC or NPC) it defaults to yourself. It wouldn't take much to change an enemy to a legal target when they are of this type (or all enemies for that matter, but heals won't affect them since it by default does no damage). There is already a modifier for healing (seen in skill such as mantra, convalescence, defiance, etc.) so the modifier can by 0 for normal enemies and -1 (or what ever number) for undead.
