Well in that case, without messing with mechanics too much, I would want an aerial fight like Ultima Weapon (FFVII) where you can ram it with the airship to engage and it flies around. In fact, I would like roaming mobs in general; the leashes get on my nerves.I'm not saying it would be difficult to change. I'm just saying that I don't see it as being likely because it would affect a basic function of how healing works, and people don't like change unless it's all good and no "bad". Actually, they'd probably still hate the change even then.....

Ornstein and Smough
like, literally Ornstein and Smough
It'll be like, "You were expecting someone else or perhaps someone that vaguely resembled Ornstein and Smough as a clever reference but NO! IT WAS WE! LITERALLY ORNSTEIN AND SMOUGH!"
On that note, also: Dio Brando

Also, Big Space Guy Wyzen.

Actually, I forgot I change my mind; I forgot about the XIII series. I want an admantoise, armadillon, and the behemoths that stand halfway through the fight:
Also this thing:

Kind of miss the the whole aspect of the undead coming out more at night that FFXI had. Always felt like everything became more serious in parties, to say nothing of the way group tactics would have to change to accommodate the more dangerous terrain. Imagine the change in the open world of FFXIV if the same were added, even to decent challenge, blood aggro, ect... just to name a few mechanics that could be introduced.

Yes please ^^

More ff12 enemies, like the Entites. Pretty nasty balls of pure energy that are hard to kill and spam high level spells.. But they only appear under certain weather conditions or fulfilling a specific objective on the map ala S rank hunts. Make them FATEs if you have to.

only if you can get ruin helm from ruin sentinel.
that is best helm.

Armstrong, yes please! I like Armstrong so much, it was the second boss in a dungeon I tried to design. It could definitely work as a Goblin forgekin!
