Thread: 3.0 and Gold Saucer

I've seen nothing mentioned as far as this goes, are we getting any new games? prizes? Vanity items in the Saucer? is there any reason to save my MGP or shall I just blow it on the Bunny suit because

New GS stuff is coming, just not in patch 3.0. There's already so much stuff prepared for the start of Heavensward, but lower priority things are planned for later patches... a new Gold Saucer event, beast tribe quests, pvp content, etc.

They need to increase the MGP prize for Choco racing. It's so pathetically low. Such a waste of time early on when Gold Saucer first came out.

It was actually kind of fun when the GS came out. At least back then other people raced, and the item boxes didn't give the same 2-3 items.

Now all we have to race against are overpowered NPCs, unless you go in with friends, and then it just kind of sucks if you've been raising your chocobo and they haven't. I could rant about how they messed choco racing up all day.

Anyway, a snowboarding minigame has been all but confirmed, and I think we're getting new TT cards pretty shortly after 3.0? Not sure about anything regarding new pize exchange items.

I would love to see the Ishgardian townsfolk outfits added to prize claim. The noblewomen's dresses are gorgeous and the noblemen's outfits are very sharp-looking.

They've said they're working on a snowboarding minigame and are working with someone from ffx for a blitzball adaptation. They've also mentioned more of the coinslot games.We will probably see something for 3.1.
