Can't get Leavequests

Hi, I am relatively new, but I've gotten to the point that several guildmasters tell me that I can get Leaves now. Problem is, NONE of the leavequest givers will talk to me. Don't know what I am doing wrong. Any help would be appreciated.

Correct. Leves must be unlocked by doing a trial leve for the levemete, which is presented as a leve wrapped up in a sidequest. This has to start with the levemete at the Adventurer's Guild in your home city. Until you unlock leves with him, none of the other levemetes will talk to you. After that, you will need to have a level sufficient for that levemete (for example, you'll need level 15 to unlock the leves in Aleport; level 20 to unlock the leves in Moraby Drydocks). Also, leves are not generally unlocked for you until you progress far enough in the Main Scenario quests--from Limsa, you'll need to finish "Just Deserts", and you'll need to be level 9 to get that quest, in addition to doing all the Main Scenario quests before it. You'll then have to be level 10 to actually get the sidequest ("Leves of Swiftperch").
