    I'm pretty sure the relic quest is there to give people something to do that takes more than a couple hours to complete. It recycles old content to add replayability. Kinda the same as the lucis tools, it gives you a goal to keep crafting after you hit lvl 50.

    I would argue that roullette is there to add people into the duty finder pool, but there is no roullette for endgame trials.
