Why Removing Houses from inactive is NOT a solution.

the remove inactive housing should only effect inactive account (as account have not renew for some months). It is true that remove inactive housing will not solve the lack of house issue, but inactive house need to remove because if the player is already stop playing the game, the house should not remain but instead be remove and let other player who are currently playing have access to it.

If a player in some circumstance cannot continues the game for a period, but as long as the player keep renew the acc, the house should not be effect or target to be remove.

Look up the owners character and see when their last achievement was. An FC owner of a house and FC name I want has not logged in since january of this year. The FC is named The Returners on Siren Server. I have camped their house for 3 days straight and not one has logged in. One of their officers even made a blog post stating that they left the game completely. So their FC and house are sitting......abandoned and I cant even get the house OR the fc namE. The fc has 9 members.

Unless they manually enabled them, achievements cant be viewed.
However it seems your issue is a personal one, rather then one about housing in general.

A point can be both on principle and coincidentally personal. There is nothing wrong with James' frustration - he has described a fantastic example of what is presently wrong with the housing system.

If players have not been active within the game for a year or more I think it's safe to say that they most likely will not be back. So something needs to be put into place so others do get the chance to actually own their own personal home. After all everyone does deserve a shot at this.

I've been playing myself for a few months or so now and with how everything is, it is very unlikely I'll ever get the chance to have a home myself and I would have liked to have that option eventually.

I've started to check up on plots. Went through 180 of them (Lavender Beds, Ward 1, 8, 3 [1-30], 6 [31-60]) and found 22 more likely to be inactive or 39 less likely to be inactive. If you only take the more likely inactive plots you have about 12%, let's say 10% are inactive - that would make about 144 from the total of 1440 plots. However my sample is somewhat small (12.5%) and there might be a few people who don't play but still pay a subscription.

Also, Lavender Beds is sort of the housing enthusiast's choice of ward..
If you check up Goblet, I'm sure an even bigger percentage would be inactive plots.

I see inactive homes all around my ward in Mists. The fc and house in question I already told you. Just today I am camping their house and it still shows 0/9 members online. Chances are that this FC and the people in it who are between level 12-50 are not coming back. This issue is not a small problem and removing homes from people who refuse to support the game is something we need. That way housing should get to where it should have been in the first place, for ACTIVE PAYING SUBSCRIBERS only.

So also are high chances of any on that FC it still be an active suscription, but using other characters wich can be or not in other servers

long time ago it was proposed, but met with fierce opposition from the players so they scrapped the idea.
