There are 2 major US data centers, primal and aether. You are on cactuar, which is part of the aether data center (the same one I'm on).

When you queue for any duty, such as frontlines, you will get matched with other people on your data center. As far as I can tell Aether and Primal are both about the same in terms of frontlines queue times.

It also depends what grand company you are. The more popular grand companies (storm/adders on primal, flames/storm on aether) have longer queue times. GC popularity also shifts over time, and is heavily influenced by active premades.

I would say frontlines is still active, I got around 25 matches in last week and I was just queuing up in my free time. There is a slight lull right now due to a lot of people taking a break before the expansion, but I guarantee you when the expansion hits and they release the new frontlines map, it will become extremely popular again.
